Ditching her parents for a night out, almost nothing will stop Shana from having a great time — not familial pressure, not losing her BFF Kaitlyn to the dance floor, not even a drunk stranger trying to make Shana her new dance partner. But the night catches up with her: a strange encounter with a homeless woman, then an arrest for drunk driving — and Shana discovers daddy can't solve everything for her.

The score for Medusa Jones was designed to balance the film's quirky humour with its more dramatic moments. Built around playful woodwinds, expressive strings and rhythmic orchestral textures, the music reflects the shifting tone of the story. To complement the protagonist's Indian heritage, the score also incorporates traditional Indian stringed instruments and percussion, blending them with a Western orchestral palette to create a distinctive musical identity.
